Guardianship
Some of our Breeding Dogs Live in a Guardian Homes, because we believe that every single dog deserves to be a pet, first and foremost. I use guardian homes on a very particular basis when I to bring an *amazing* dog into our program.
Our Mini Poodle / Aussiedoodle program is focused on temperament and matching people with lifelong companions for pets, purpose and performance. Part of the reason we can keep our promise of providing families with generational pets is through our Guardian Home Community! A Guardian Home operates like a foster to own arrangement - a home for our moms and dads while in the breeding program and beyond! The core purpose of our guardian home program is to ensure that our dogs live a kennel free life and enjoy a full life as beloved pets in a home.

Guardian homes are chosen with great care and attention. It is very important that we ensure the right fit for our dogs and partner with families we can work with. To be a guardian home you must be a dog lover and experienced dog owner who understands the commitment and benefit of providing exercise and meaningful socialization. We prefer *non-smoking* households within 1-2 hours from the Peterborough Area, Ontario.
General Requirements
Fenced Yard
Previous Dog ownership an asset
Dog Training Experience an asset
Provide the dog with a safe and loving home
Must be willing to travel/meet for occasional breeding related appointments
Provide adequate socialization and exercise for the dog
Willing to take the dog to obedience/training classes
Willing to feed raw diet and healthy supplements
Keep dog socialized with other dogs and different people. This is very important!
Standard routine maintenance and medical care, such as regular grooming, annual vaccines, heartworm and flea/tick prevention, etc..
